Audio Visual Specialists offers media digitization services that are completed entirely in-house at our Lynnwood, WA location. There is no need to mail away your irreplaceable video tapes, audio recordings, or motion picture film reels. We can convert most motion picture film, video, and audio formats to your choice of DVD discs or computer files on a flash drive. No appointment is necessary – our storefront is open most weekdays from 8:30am until 5pm.

Video and Audio Transfer Service

We can transfer any VHS, VHS-C, Video8. Hi8, Digital8, or miniDV tapes to DVD, or to files on a USB drive. We can transfer PAL (European & Australian format) VHS, Hi8, and miniDV tapes.

Film to Video Transfer

8mm, Super8mm (Silent or Sound) and 16mm (Silent or with Optical Sound) film to a DVD, USB drive, or external hard drive. We use Telecine film transfer machines that use a built-in high-definition camera and a true-speed mechanism to process the film. Music can be added to any film project at an additional cost.   • $.25 per foot for silent film
  • $.35 per foot for sound film

Please note that while we will handle film orders of fewer than 200 feet, our minimum charge for film transfers is equivalent to 200 feet.

We can put your 35mm slides, photos, film and videos into a professionally edited video creating a lasting keepsake for your family and for a lifetime. We make edited videos that include subjects like birthdays, sports reels, family memorials, anniversary documentary, and marketing. The fully edited video will have the video and audio clips, transitions, effects and titles. We can make an interactive DVD that will allow for to specific scene selection navigation of the video. We can convert video in different formats to include the .mov, .avi, .wmv., .dv., .flv. MPEG4 video files for web sites, YouTube and personal home editing.
